Merry (belated) christmas to all! It's a different one with my relatives from malaysia dropping by this year, things are livelier. Eve was half day at work, but still gotta go for dispatch while the others were celebrating in office, unwrapping their presents, and up till now i'm clueless who's my "angel", well glad that yuanqing like the present i got for him. Caught up with my teammates at plaza sing, before heading to universal studio with my relatives for After Hours. Just 5 bucks and we got to have some glimpse of the inside, fireworks at the end made it really worthwhile.
Class outing on the day of christmas, with about a quarter of the class attended, haha still i think it wasn't that bad already, really really really missed everyone. Had lunch over at the glass house, fish & co, then roam around plaza sing again. Big thanks to singtel for providing free photography and printing, part of their advertising campaign i guess? Haha and weekian as well for Gong Cha bubble tea (: Watched a movie that featured nagasawa masami at night with teammates, wasn't that bad unexpectedly, maybe eechu was right for once, or was it edmund? And i was really tempted to stayover with them at the hotel, which eechu got it for free tsktsk, but i can't just leave my relatives behind at home bleah, priority...
And that pretty sums up christmas for this year, oh and i got lots of presents this year! Usually i don't even get anything haha, so here they are, really grateful towards adriel, mabel, chonkah and some unknown sender.

So angsty, right now. I've been having lots of issues with dad recently, and it's making me dislike my family even more. I don't even wanna think about chinese new year 'cause there are sure to be many disputes between us ahead, this is probably just the beginning.
I've planned my leave alas, but rather unwillingly, really shouldn't have left my leave untouched all the way till the end of the year. For the whole of next week i'll only be going for the eve, and i really don't know what to do for the days i'm on leave. Missed out hell lotta fun last weekend 'cause i was overseas, so it's been about 3 weeks since i last saw my friends, and this is the time where i really need them, right now.

Up till now i still don't know what hit me with conjunctivitis, i was thinking about the top shells but i ate only one and it was about 5 hours later that my eyes were swollen. So i thought it could be sake, but if i could drink beer it wouldn't make sense, unless it's different or something. Or a chemical reaction between sake and top shell? Bleah...it was the morning after the clash between man utd and arsenal, watched the match at eugene's house, finally a decent match without sopcast. Still made my way to camp, was thinking of reporting sick at maju, ended up timothy fetched me to A&E at NUH hahaha, and everything took about 30 minutes, if it was maju it would have been few hours i guess. Doc gave me an eye-drop and 2 days of MC, there goes my clean sheet, first in almost seven months. Well anyway really thank you much timothy, utterly grateful.
Back to work tomorrow...

One more exercise and we can all look forward to joint term, that's probably what i would i say as a cadet, but i'm not, just a private taking orders with no authority. Though it's been over seven months since i ooc-ed, i still look back with regrets and bitterness. By now the infantry cadets already have the jcc and csb badges being sewed onto their number 4, and in a month's time they'll be donning the black bar. The view of the parade square is still lucid in my mind. All the pride and honour, i could have been there to savour. It's been a short and smooth sailing seven months for me, while for them though it's long and arduous, they're leading a meaningful life with purpose in national service, while i'm not. I guess the only consolation i have is probably to tell myself "hey, at least i've made it there!"
I won't deny the jealously in me, mixed with abit of angst. Nevertheless i'm still really happy for you guys, especially edmund, jason, weisheng, sherman, choonlian and yuhui.
